The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Lincoln County in regard to a storm forecast to chug through the area beginning in the early morning hours of Tuesday.
Snowfall accumulations have been forecast at 3 to 5 inches by the NWS, but local broadcast forecasters are giving a more conservative estimate of 1 to 3 inches.
Forecasters are calling for any snowfall to be of the heavy, wet variety.
The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from midnight Monday through 5 p.m. on Tuesday
