Two weather systems, a weak one on Tuesday and a possibly significant snow storm on Wednesday, are forecast to chug through Lincoln County leaving “a foot or more” of snowfall, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
The weaker disturbance is forecast to arrive Tuesday and leave moderate snowfall, according to the NWS. Skies are forecast to clear out overnight, before another system arrives Wednesday morning, bringing high winds and heavy snowfall through the day, according to the NWS.
The NWS issued a Winter Storm Watch for Wednesday morning through late Wednesday night. Local broadcast forecasters are calling for 12 to 18 inches of snowfall accumulation in the Lincoln County area.
