Mr. and Mrs. Bruce and Vicki (Verney) White of Southport Island, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Valerie L. White to Luke P. Velho, son of Dr. Lawrence Velho and the late Rhonda Velho of Dartmouth, Mass.
Valerie is a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy and is currently an Assistant Manager for Walmart. Luke is also a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy and is employed as a Marine Engineer for ConocoPhillips Inc. An Aug. 2011 wedding is planned.
