Damariscotta voters returned incumbent Dave Wilbur to the board of selectmen for a second three-year term in a landslide over former selectman and perennial candidate Brent Hallowell, 153-57.
Hallowell, however, was elected on the strength of a write-in vote to serve on the Damariscotta school committee. He received eight write-in votes topping fellow write in candidates Martha Lynch, 3, Ann Pinkham, 3, and Patricia Lane, 3.
William Brewer was returned for another three-year term on the Great Salt Bay Sanitary District Board of Trustees with 126 vote. Brewer was unopposed.
