Wiscasset Police Chief Troy Cline arrested Michael Mingo, 35, of Wiscasset on Jan. 29 at 4:35 p.m.
Mingo was arrested after an investigation of a domestic violence incident that occurred on or about Jan. 14, on Fort Hill Street in Wiscasset.
Mingo is alleged to have threatened his wife, Angela Mingo, 35, with a 9-mm handgun at that time. He is also alleged to have pulled her down some stairs.
The incident was witnessed by Angela Mingo’s two children and Michael Mingo’s brother who resides with them.
Michael Mingo was charged with Domestic Violence Criminal Threatening with a Firearm (Class C Felony), and Domestic Violence Assault (Class D Misdemeanor).
He is currently being held at the Two Bridges Regional Jail pending his arraignment Jan. 30 at the Wiscasset District Court.
