Arrests and SummonsesOn Jan. 27 Officer Banks issued a summons to Darlene M. Russell, 46, of Bath for failure to give notice of an accident by quickest means and leaving the scene of a property damage accident on Rt. 144.

On Jan. 27 Lt. Allen arrested Chuck D. Schooley, 36, of Bath for violation of probation on Lowelltown Rd.

On Jan. 31 Officer Banks arrested Paul D. Grandmaison, 30, of Westbrook for criminal conspiracy at Two Bridges Regional Jail.

On Jan. 31 Officer Caron arrested Holli V. Preo, 22, of Dixfield for trafficking in prison contraband, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, and unlawful possession of scheduled drug at Two Bridges Regional Jail.

On Feb. 2 Lt. Allen arrested Dennis R. Young, 51, of Cushing on a Wiscasset District Court Warrant for failure to appear in court at Two Bridges Regional Jail.

AccidentsOn Jan. 29 Lt. Allen investigated an accident that occurred on Willow Lane involving Gardiner M. Leighton, 57, of Wiscasset and Trevor Foye, 42, of Wiscasset. Leighton was plowing in his driveway and did not see Foye traveling west, and backed up, hitting the right rear quarter of Foye’s 1998 Chevrolet. Damage to Foye’s vehicle estimated at $1000. Damage to Leighton’s 2001 Chevrolet pickup estimated at $500.

On Feb. 2 Lt. Allen investigated an accident that occurred on Old Ferry Rd. involving Herbert Winicov, 73, of East Boothbay. Winicov was traveling east when his vehicle hit a large patch of ice causing his vehicle to skid off the roadway and onto its side. Damage to his 2001 Toyota pickup estimated at $2500.
