Feb. 24, Officer Williams responded to report of suspicious person at business on Gardiner Rd.-female given escort home, received complaint of vehicle following caller and flashing his headlights on Rt. 1, and received report of wire hanging over roadway on Old Bath Rd.

Allen provided compliance check for probation officer by fingerprinting subject at police department, received two reports of a business alarm on Old Ferry Rd. all okay, arrested male subject after execution of search warrant on Gardiner Rd., attempted compliance check for probation officer on Lowelltown Rd. – subject not located, provided citizen assist on Gardiner Rd., received complaint of vehicle passing stopped school bus on Rt. 27, and investigated a non-reportable accident at business on Rt. 1.

Feb. 27, Officer Simmons investigated an accident on Gardiner Rd., assisted Sagadahoc Sheriff’s Department with attempt to locate on Old Stage Rd., assisted probation officer with two compliance checks at the police department, assisted probation officer with attempt to locate on West Alna Rd., provided motorist assist on Rt. 27, and received complaint of erratic driving on Rt. 1.
Feb. 27, Officer Williams provided escort for subjects to retrieve belongings from residence on Birch Point Rd., assisted Kennebec S.O. with attempt to locate on the Dorr Rd., investigated compliant of juveniles throwing snowballs at vehicles on Rt. 27, investigated report of underage juveniles consuming alcohol on Cronk’s Lane, and received information of motorist traveling on Rt. 27 with no taillights.
Feb. 28, Officer Bayha took report of a late report of a hit and run accident on Indian Rd., received information of an accident that occurred one week ago- investigation pending, and investigated an accident that occurred on Rt. 1.
Feb. 28, Officer Temple issued a warning to motorist for inspection violation on Rt. 27.
Feb. 28, Officer Simmons received report of a canine lying by the roadside on Bradford Road-removed raccoon, and received information of a disabled vehicle in business parking area on Rt. 1.
March 1, Officer Simmons investigated parking problem on Middle St. and assisted Lincoln County deputies with intoxilyzer test at Two Bridges jail on Rt. 1.
March 1, Officer VanHorn assisted probation officer with compliance check at the police department, investigated complaint of rude door to door salesman-subject located and given a warning, investigated compliant of harassment and trespass violation on Hale Pond Rd., and investigated an accident that occurred on Rt. 27.
March 2, Lt. Allen received police information of tractor-trailer truck traveling on Rt. 1 with no taillights, investigated call of person threatening to harm himself on Birch Point Rd., and investigated accident on Rt. 27.
March 2, Officer Simmons investigated an accident that occurred on Rt. 27, received report of vehicle left in roadway on Lowelltown Rd. – everything okay; vehicle was moved to make room for snowplowing, assisted motorist on Rt. 1, and took a missing juvenile report and a theft report from Old Bath Rd.
On Feb. 25 Lt. Allen arrested Michael J. Cardillo, 35, of Wiscasset for cultivating marijuana on Gardiner Rd.
On Feb. 28 Officer Bayha investigated an accident that occurred on Rt. 1 involving Clinton Davis, 82, of Woolwich and Cheryl A. Spaulding, 49, of Rockland. Davis was exiting from a business on Rt. 1 and did not see Spaulding who was southbound. Davis struck Spaulding’s 2000 Ford causing damage estimated at $2000. Damage to Davis’ 2009 Toyota estimated at $2000.
On March 1 Officer VanHorn investigated an accident that occurred on Rt. 27 involving Alfred J. Plante, 77, of Chelsea and Billie Jo Whitmore, 39, of Wiscasset. Plante was traveling east and could not stop due to snow on roadway, and struck Whitmore who was stopped at the intersection of Rt. 27 and Rt. 1. Damage to Whitmore’s 2009 Subaru estimated at $1500. Damage to Plante’s 2005 Toyota estimated at $1500.
On March 2 Lt. Allen investigated an accident that occurred on Rt. 27 involving Andrea J. Perkins, 40, of Wiscasset and Stuart R. Wyman, 72, of Wiscasset. Wyman was headed north and about to turn right into his driveway. Perkins, behind Wyman, was unable to stop due to the extreme icy and snow conditions and hit the back of Wyman’s 1995 Chevrolet SUV causing damage estimated at $500. Damage to Perkins 2005 Dodge estimated at $3000.
On March 2 Officer Simmons investigated an accident that occurred on Rt. 27 involving Richard O. Thompson, 31, of Pittston and Gerald A. Safford, 42, of Bowdoinham. Thompson was southbound and Safford was pulling out of a parking lot onto Rt. 27 to head north. Due to high snowbanks, weather, visibility and road conditions, Thompson did not see Safford approaching and the vehicles collided. Damage to Safford’s 1993 Ford estimated at $2000. Damage to Thompson’s 2009 Datsun estimated at $5000.
