The Wiscasset Police report the following activities from the previous week:
Sept. 29, Officer Williams received bad checks complaint from business on Rt. 27, received erratic operations complaint on Gardiner Rd., investigated a non-reportable accident that occurred in courthouse parking area, and responded to suspicious activity on Birch Point Rd.
Sept. 30, Lt. Allen responded to an non-reportable accident that occurred at the primary school, assisted probation and patrol with two compliance checks at the police department, received traffic complaint on Rt. 218, investigated an accident that occurred in Shaw’s parking area, and issued three warnings for traffic offenses on Willow Lane and Gardiner Rd.
Sept. 30, Officer Williams responded to juvenile problem at business on Rt. 1.
Oct. 1, Lt. Allen issued verbal warning for speeding on Birch Point Rd., responded to a 9-1-1 hang-up on Two Bridges Rd., responded to an erratic driving complaint on Rt. 1, and responded to a motor vehicle accident on Rt. 1.
Oct. 1, Officer Williams responded to a motor vehicle accident in Shaw’s parking lot.
Oct. 2, Officer Simmons made a warrant arrest for Maine State Police at Two Bridges Regional Jail and received police information on Hodge St.
Oct. 2,Officer Williams responded to a 9-1-1 open line on Huntoon Hill Rd.; all set.
Oct. 3, Officer Williams provided pedestrian check on Rt. 1. Officer Mike Smith made attempt to locate vehicle with headlights flashing traveling on Rt. 1. Officer Simmons received information reference a protection order on Old Bath Rd., responded to a medical emergency on Gardiner Rd., and investigated a non-reportable accident that occurred on Westport Bridge Rd.
Oct. 4, Officer Simmons responded to a report of domestic assault on the West Alna Rd., assisted citizen with retrieval of belongings on Gardiner Rd., and responded to juvenile problem on the Old Bath Rd.
Oct. 5, Lt. Allen responded for criminal mischief at the high school, responded to unwanted subject on Heritage Lane, received report of littering on Willow Lane, provided business assist on Gardiner Rd., responded to a residential alarm on Bradford Rd., responded to a medical emergency on Heritage Lane, and investigated a non-reportable accident on Water St.
Officer Simmons responded for a domestic disturbance at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on Rt. 1.
On Oct. 5 Officer Simmons summonsed a male juvenile, 16, of Edgecomb for assault on Rt. 1.
On Oct. 1 Officer Williams investigated an accident that occurred in parking area of Shaw’s Supermarket involving Donald S. Wright, 50, of Westport Island. Wright struck a light pole causing damage to his 2006 GMC pickup estimated ate $4000.
