The Wiscasset Police report the following activities from the previous week:
Feb. 24, Lt. Allen assisted Maine Drug Enforcement on Gardiner Rd., issued a summons on Gardiner Rd., and made service of paperwork for Augusta District Court. Officer Williams responded to a criminal mischief complaint on Rt. 27 and responded to dog running at large complaint on Rt. 27.
Feb. 25, Lt. Allen responded to a business alarm on Gardiner Rd., provided a compliance check on subject on Gardiner Rd., and responded to an animal compliant on Rt. 27. Officer Williams responded to four business alarms due to the weather conditions and investigated a disabled motor vehicle on Birch Point Rd.
Feb. 26, Officer Simmons assisted Belfast District Court with service of paperwork on Willow Lane, responded for report of missing children on Alna Rd.; subjects located, assisted LCSO with an unwanted subject compliant on Rt. 1, responded to a domestic problem complaint on Alna Rd., and responded to a business alarm on Chewonki Neck Rd. Officer Williams assisted citizen reference her animals on Dickenson Rd., responded to report of suspicious activity on the Old Sheepscot Rd., responded to business alarm on Chewonki Neck Rd., responded to a harassment complaint at business on Rt. 1, and assisted Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Department with attempt to locate on Rt. 1.
Feb. 27, Officer Mike Smith responded to motorist off roadway on Rt. 27 and provided two welfare checks for citizens on Rt. 27 and on Birch Point Rd. Officer Simmons provided a 9-1-1 check on Dirt way Rd. and checked on an alarm from business on Rt. 27.
Feb. 28, Officer VanHorn took report of a theft on Rt. 1, checked on suspicious persons on the Old Ferry Rd.; persons were taking photos of wildlife, issued four written warnings for speeding on Rt. 1.
March 1, Lt. Allen provided welfare check for citizen on Deer Ridge Rd., responded to complaint of dog running at large on Ready Point Rd., and stopped vehicle for traffic offense on Rt. 1. Officer Simmons provided citizen assist by supplying water on the Old Stage Rd., responded to a parking problem on Morton St., and issued a verbal warning for speeding on Rt. 27
On Feb. 26, Officer Simmons arrested Brett E. Lindsey, 45, of Wiscasset for domestic assault on Gardiner Rd.
