Wiscasset Police Report

Arrests and SummonsesOn May 25, Lt. Allen arrested Dennis P. Gauthier, 53, of Wiscasset for violation of conditions of release, criminal trespass, and tampering with a witness.

On May 28, Officer VanHorn issued a summons to a male juvenile, 17, of Wiscasset for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Gardiner Road.

On May 29 Officer Caron issued a summons to Sally S. Kent, 51, of Bowdoin for speeding on Rt. 27. AccidentsOn May 31, Officer Lt. Allen investigated an accident that occurred on Main Street involving Jacqueline L. Ellett, 18, of Yarmouth, Pascal Giacomoni, 44, of Newmarket, N.H., and Norman W. Payson, 44, of Southport.

Payson and Giacomoni were headed south on the Dan Davey Bridge and were slowing down in traffic. Ellett came up behind Giacomoni, hitting the back of his vehicle which pushed him into the back of Payson.

Damage to Ellett’s 2005 Subaru S.W. (registered to Samuel Ekkett) estimated at $1000. Damage to Giacomoni’s 2003 Saab S.W. estimated at $4000. Damage to Payson’s 1992 Ford pickup estimated at $100.
