Lieutenant John Allen of the Wiscasset Police Dept. report the following:
Jan. 25, Officer Williams performed various property checks; unsuccessfully attempted to locate a pedestrian to perform a welfare check and responded to a burglar alarm at Wiscasset High School. Officer Fait responded to a non-reportable accident in the Shaw’s Supermarket parking lot and provided two separate citizen assists.
Jan 26, Officer Fait took a report of a Wiscasset couple receiving harassing phone calls, assisted a citizen with a melting ice issue on Water Street and issued a warning following a motor vehicle stop on Bath Road.
Jan. 27, Officer Kathy S. Williams performed various property checks and responded to two disabled motor vehicles.
Jan. 28, Officer Gary Caron performed various property checks and issued various warnings for motor vehicle operations. Officer Donald H. Smith took a report of a vehicle passing a stopped school bus, but was unable to locate the vehicle. Officer Smith also assisted Damariscotta Police with an intoxicated individual.
Jan. 29, Officer Michael A. Smith performed various property checks, responded to a disabled motor vehicle on Gardiner Road and a motor vehicle accident on Rt. 1 near the Woolwich line and issued various warnings for motor vehicle operations. Officer Donald H Smith took a report of a stolen wallet.
Jan. 30, Officer Michael A Smith performed various property checks. Officer James Read responded to a disabled motor vehicle near the intersection of Bath and Stage roads. Officer James Read issued a warning for speed following a motor vehicle stop on Bath Road.
Jan. 27, Anna M. Chapman, 40, Wiscasset, was issued a summons for allowing a dog to be at large on Gibbs Road.
Jan. 30, Jennifer L. Grover, 39, Edgecomb, was summonsed for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.
Jan. 27, at approximately 5:33 p.m., a 2005 Jeep driven by Raymond Lucente, 52, of Bath, was struck from behind by a 2009 Hyundai sedan driven by Heejeong Kim, 39, of Brunswick, as Lucerne was turning onto the Bradford Road. Damage to Lucentes vehicle estimated at $1000. Damage to Kim’s vehicle estimated at $5000.
Jan. 29, at approximately 6:50 a.m., a 2000 Pontiac sedan driven by William Burns, 64, of Washington, went off Rt. 1 and struck a snow bank at 622 Bath Rd. Damage estimated at $1000.
Jan. 29, at approximately 5:24 p.m., a 2000 Chrysler driven by Jennifer Grover, 39, of Edgecomb, was turning onto Rt. 27 from the Wiscasset Quik Stop when she struck a 2002 Nissan driven by Laurie Herron, 48, of Round Pond, as Herron was making a left turn into the Quik Stop parking lot. Damage to Grover’s vehicle reported as minor. Herron received damage to the left front of her vehicle, no estimate given.
