Feb. 25, Officer Adam Temple investigated an accident involving a 2002 Dodge SUV driven by Robert Cavanaugh, 50 of Hull, Mass, and a Colby & Gale fuel truck driven by Mark Delano, 40 of Waldoboro. The Colby & Gale truck struck Cavanaugh’s Dodge, which had lost control on Main Street due to slippery conditions. Damage to fuel truck, a 1997 International Harvester, was reported as minimal. Damage to Dodge was estimated at $5000.
Feb. 25, Officer Adam temple investigated an accident involving a 2004 Toyota pickup, operated by Kenneth P. Chaney, 91 of Alna, who lost control of his vehicle on Rt. 1 near Beechnut Hill Road in inclement weather. Chaney was transported to Miles Memorial Hospital with an irregular heartbeat. Damage to his truck was estimated at $1500.
Feb. 25, Officer Adam Temple investigated an accident involving Mary Linda Rapelye, 66 of Boothbay, and Paula Hersom, 47 of Wiscasset, at the intersection of Lee and Middle Streets. Operating a 2005 Jeep, Rapelye was unable to stop due to slippery conditions and struck Hersom’s 2006 Ford SUV, which was parked in her driveway. The Jeep sustained an estimated $3000 damage. Damage to Ford SUV was estimated at $3000. Neither party was injured.
Feb. 28, Lt. John Allen investigated an accident involving 1995 GMC snowplow operated by Spencer Bailey, 24 of Wiscasset, and 1997 AMC Jeep operated by Rebekah Turner, 26 of Westport Island. Turner was headed west on Main Road on Westport Island when she was struck by Bailey who had failed to yield after entering Main Road from Lord Road. Damage to Turner’s vehicle estimated at $4,200. There was no reported damage to Baileys truck.
Feb. 28, River J. Spofford, 23, Bath was arrested for probation violation.

Feb. 25, Officer Gary Caron performed various property checks; Officer Temple provided a business escort; responded to a burglar alarm on Golden Apple Drive and to a juvenile problem on Lowelltown Road; Officer James Read provided citizen assistance on Bradford Road; Officer Michael Smith responded to a separate medical emergencies and Pleasant and Churchill Streets.
Feb. 26, Officer Michael Smith responded to a burglar alarm on Federal Street, all set; accepted police information regarding a Foye Road incident; Officer Temple assisted a disabled motor vehicle on Federal Street.
Feb. 27, Officer Michael A Smith performed various property checks; responded to an unwanted, and intoxicated, subject on Federal Street; Officer Kathy Williams performed a welfare check on Ready Point Road.
