The Wiscasset Police Dept. report the following:

Complaints and incidentsJune 9, Officer Michael Smith issued a warning for a vehicle defect; and issued a warning for speed on Bath Road.

Officer Gary Caron issued a warning for speed to the driver of a black 2000 Jeep 2D Wrangler on the Bath Road; and issued a headlights warning to the driver of a 2005 Subaru 2005 4D.

Summonses and arrestsJune 8, Chief Troy Cline issued a summons for inspection in the vicinity of Nichols Motors in Wiscasset.

AccidentsJune 3 Jean Paul Doiron, 20, of Chelmsford, Mass., was charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, driving to endanger, and failing to stop at a stop sign. He ran through the stop sign on Federal Street, and crashed into Cynthia Fales, (59) of Damariscotta, before driving into the post office. Damage to Wiscasset Post Office.
