The Wiscasset Police Dept. reports the following activities from Sept. 17-24:

Arrests and summonsesSept. 17, Chief Troy Cline and Sgt. Kathy Williams responded to a domestic violence complaint and arrested Shannon Butler, 19, of Wiscasset, for domestic violence assault and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sept. 18, Chief Cline summonsed James King III, 20, of East Wilton, for an inspection violation.

Sept. 20, Officer Perry Hatch arrested Sandra Dorr, 50, of Wiscasset, for violating conditions of release.

Sept. 20, Chief Cline summonsed Rachael Corson, 42, of Wiscasset, for no inspection sticker and an equipment violation; and, summonsed Sharolyn Graves, 43, of Edgecomb, for inspection violation.

Sept. 21, Chief Cline summonsed David Bradford, 61, of Westport Island, for inspection violation; summonsed Amanda Davis, 25, of Wiscasset, for an expired inspection sticker; summonsed Wade Welner, 26, of Harpswell, for inspection violation; and, summonsed Joseph Roderiques, 34, of Boothbay, for inspection violation.

Sept. 21, Officer Hatch summonsed Barbara Carney, 74, of Washington, for speeding.

Sept. 22, Officer Geoffrey Davis summonsed Howard Whitcomb, 73, of Georgetown, for speeding; summonsed Jeffrey Wheeler, 58, of Westport Island, for speeding; summonsed Mark Williams, 60, of Westport Island, for speeding; and, summonsed Steven Peaslee, 39, of Whitefield, for speeding.

Sept. 23, Officer Hatch summonsed Robert Maynes, 59, of Wiscasset, for speeding.

Sept. 24, Chief Cline summonsed Jason Danielson, 40, of York, for an expired inspection sticker and no insurance.

AccidentsSept. 17, Sgt. Williams responded to a motor vehicle accident on Bath Road. Gary Pouliot, 49, of Augusta, was driving a 2003 Nissan Sentra in the northbound lane of Bath Road. Richard Drummey, 83, of Westport Island, driving a 2005 Honda CR-V turned out of the Shaw’s Supermarket parking lot into the path of Pouliot. Drummey was found at fault for failure to yield right of way.
