Wiscasset Police Chief Troy Cline reports the following summons, arrests and accidents:
On Oct. 31, Alexander Kelly, 59, of Bremen, received a summons for an expired registration.
Leroy Wenzel, 55, of Wiscasset, was arrested for operating after suspension.
On Nov. 3, Paige McLellan, 19, of Wiscasset, received a summons for operating after suspension.
John Nelson, 26, of Windsor, received a summons for no inspection sticker.
On Nov. 5, Jenna Harris, 27, of Wiscasset, received a summons for a stop sign violation.
On Oct. 31, an accident occurred at the intersection of Rt. 1 and Old Bath Road near the North of the Border involving Leroy Wenzel, 55, of Wiscasset. According to the police report, Wenzel was attempting a turn from Rt. 1 onto Old Bath Road; he misjudged the turn and went into a ditch.
On Nov. 2, an accident occurred on Old Ferry Road near Shady Lane involving Breanna Baise, 23, of Wiscasset. Baise, driving a 2011 Nissan SUV, attempted to go around a pedestrian and struck a Ford pickup that was traveling in the opposite direction. The driver of the truck did not stop.
On Nov. 4, a hit and run accident occurring at the parking lot of the Sheepscot Bay Apartments was reported to the Wiscasset Police Department. Stephanie Dearborn, 28, of Wiscasset, reported that her 2003 Hyundai had been struck by another vehicle sometime between Nov. 1 and Nov. 3. According to Cline, Dearborn’s vehicle had white transfer paint on it.
