With an increase in seat belt violations during the last several weeks, Wiscasset Police Chief Troy Cline reminds motorists to abide by Maine’s seat belt law. The Wiscasset Police Department has a zero tolerance policy for seat belt violations and warns motorists to “click it or ticket.”
Chief Cline reports the following arrests and summons:
William Curran, 41, Whitefield, seat belt violation, July 8.
Mason Dubord, 40, Dresden, expired registration, July 2.
Adam Fairservice, 34, Pittston, expired registration, July 1.
Joshua Harwood, 35, Georgetown, seat belt violation, July 8.
Michael Jackson, 25, Randolph, seat belt violation and expired insurance, July 3.
Karen Jones, 33, Farmingdale, texting while driving, July 1.
Kevin Manns, 60, Oaklyn, N. J., speeding, July 8.
Brendan O’Keefe, 22, Chelmsford, Massachusetts, speeding, July 6.
Susan Page, 45, Wiscasset, keeping a dangerous dog and two counts of allowing a dog to run at large, July 8.
Shawn Tanter, 38, Warren, expired inspection, June 30.
Jeffrey Wilson, 44, Wiscasset, failure to obtain a Maine license, July 1.
