AccidentsOn Sept. 24 an accident occurred on Main Street involving Anne Connell, 59, of Damariscotta and Steven C. Bowman, 55, of Hope. Connell operating a 1998 Volvo was slowed in traffic, when she was hit from behind by Bowman, operating a 2007 Toyota Tundra.

On Sept. 26 an accident occurred on Gardiner Road involving David Sprague, 47, of Wiscasset and Carol Ann Rines, 66, of Wiscasset. Sprague’s 1965 Pontiac GTO was legally parked at the Wiscasset Town Office parking lot when Rines, operating a 2012 Chevrolet Impala, backed up and struck Sprague’s parked vehicle.
