Alberta S. Athearn, 23, Brunswick, failing to produce evidence of vehicle insurance, Oct. 2.

Michael R. Bridges, 58, Damariscotta, operating a vehicle without a valid inspection certificate, Sept. 29.

Igor Kvitnitsky, 54, Oakville, Ontario, failing to wear a seat belt, Oct. 1.

Malcolm E. Lamoreau, 64, Richmond, operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate, failing to produce evidence of vehicle insurance, failing to register vehicle, Oct. 1.

Sarah J. Lane, 35, Nobleboro, failing to wear a seat belt, Oct. 1.

Zachary J. Lyons, 22, Wiscasset, displaying fictitious vehicle certificate, Sept. 29.

Ralisha R. Russell, 22, Westport Island, failure to register vehicle, Sept. 30.

Kenneth A. Wing, 62, Wiscasset, failing to wear a seat belt, Sept. 28.

AccidentsOct. 2: Officer Willy Simmons responded to a four-car accident on Bath Road in the vicinity of the post office. Jean A. Cunningham, 76, of Boothbay, was operating a 1989 Volvo. Barbara H. Eldred, 78, of East Boothbay, was operating a 2013 Subaru Forester. Charles F. Canning, 56, of Foreside, was operating a 2006 Nissan. Cunningham, Eldred, and Canning were stopped waiting for pedestrians to cross the crosswalk. Brandon S. Simmons, 28, of Wiscasset, was operating a 2010 Dodge 2500 pickup truck and failed to see the stopped vehicles. Simmons hit Cunningham’s vehicle, which in turn hit Eldred’s vehicle, which in turn hit Canning’s vehicle.

Oct 2: Officer Simmons responded to a two-car accident on Bath Road. Levi James Lamoreau, 25, of Augusta, operating a 2007 Chevrolet Sebring, was stopped in traffic. Adam S. Haywood, 31, of Stockbridge, Mass., operating a 2011 Subaru, failed to see Lamoreau and rear-ended him.
