Natalie Castonia of Edgecomb, has accepted the Children’s Librarian position at Wiscasset Public Library.
With a background in education, familiarity with the library and knowledge of the area, Castonia will be a real asset. Her mother, Joan Spurgat, worked at the library for 17 years. Castonia was a frequent visitor as a child and has brought both of her children to the library. The staff are all looking forward to working with her.
The position became available upon the retirement of Judy Flanagan. Flanagan had been with the library since 2010. She has been a real treasure and has promised to visit. Her creativity and her love of children and education were driving forces during her time at the Wiscasset Public Library.
