The Wiscasset Town Office will be closing early due to weather, according to a field report from LCN reporter Dominik Lobkowicz. The town office will close at 4 p.m. instead of 6 p.m.
The wide-ranging elements of Hurricane Sandy are forecast to bring dangerously high winds Monday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service, which has also issued a High Wind Warning for the area.
The Lincoln County News website will continue to follow the progress of this event, with constant coverage beginning Monday, extending into the night-time hours, and continuing on Tuesday.
