Wiscasset Town Planner Misty Parker submitted her resignation Sept 22, and plans to take a position in Lewiston. Parker’s last day on the job will be Friday, Oct. 3.
Parker has confirmed she is leaving Wiscasset to accept a position in Lewiston as an economic development specialist.
Parker has served as the Wiscasset town planner for the past three years. Before coming to Wiscasset, Parker served in Waldoboro as planning and development director.
