A woman escaped with minor scratches when she rolled her car after falling asleep at the wheel in Nobleboro late Thursday afternoon, Sept. 24, according to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office personnel.
Morganne Price-Prevot, 23, of Waldoboro, was driving a Subaru Outback northbound on Route 1. According to LCSO Deputy Ken Hatch, Price-Prevot fell asleep while driving and awoke when the vehicle struck the curb, causing it to roll over.
The vehicle came to a rest on its roof near the intersection of Route 1 and East Pond Road.
Price-Prevot sustained minor scratches on her arm and was treated at the scene by Central Lincoln County Ambulance Service personnel, Hatch said. Price-Prevot was wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident and the airbags deployed.
The Nobleboro Fire Department and the Waldoboro Fire Department responded to the scene.
