Carter Bates and Diana Bardes
Susan and Geoffrey Bates, of South Bristol, are very pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Carter Barrows Bates, to Diana Migliaccio Bardes.
Carter Bates graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in international affairs and is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at the Johns Hopkins University Carey School of Business while working as director of digital communication for the nonprofit Nuclear Threat Initiative.
Bardes graduated summa cum laude from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Juris Doctor degree. She is an associate at Mooney, Green, Saindon, Murphy, & Welch, P.C. in Washington, D.C. Bardes has been recognized as a Super Lawyers rising star in Washington, D.C.
Bardes is the daughter of Connie and Matthew Bardes, of Fort Lee, N.J. and Naples, Fla.
The couple is planning a fall 2018 wedding.
