Castle Tucker, built in 1807, was the dream home of Judge Silas Lee and his wife Tempe. The couple enjoyed an elegant lifestyle in their new home. In 1858, Richard Tucker, Jr. and his young wife Mollie moved
into the house, immediately turning it into a fashionable Victorian home for their family of five children, who went on to live extraordinary lives outside Wiscasset. Hear stories of this talented and unusual family as you walk through their home, including the 1858 parlor and a kitchen with four generations of cooking technology still in place where it was used.
The final dates for this tour this season are September 7 and September 21. Space is limited. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Buy online at https://www.historicnewengland.org/visit/events.
