David Gans, a California native whose musical roots stretch deep into the history of the Northern California music scene, will be performing locally at The Little Brown Church on Route 32 in Round Pond at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 27.
Showcasing his journalistic efforts, Gans will be at Sherman’s Maine Coast Book Shop at 158 Main St., Damariscotta at 1 p.m. on the day of his performance, signing copies of his newly released book, “This is All a Dream we Dreamed: An Oral History of the Grateful Dead.” Gans is host of the weekly radio show “Tales from the Golden Road” on SiriusXM and the nationally syndicated “Grateful Dead Hour.”
The venue is open seating (church pews), with ticket sales occurring on the day of the show beginning at 7 p.m. The suggested admission is $12.
