Let’s make some delicious, nutritious syrup with my fresh Spring Nettles! This Class will be held Saturday, April. 18th, at 2:00 pm at the Local Batch Kitchen. [right below our store!]
Absolutely one of THE most beneficial wild plants out there, Stinging Nettles are more friend than foe! My favorite way to easily enjoy their benefits is to use them to make a British-style, non-alcoholic Nettle Cordial, similar to an herbal syrup. It has an absolutely delicious & completely unique flavor -– bright & herbal with strong apricot-peach notes.
In this class, I’ll share my personal recipe for the cordial, with both fresh & dried nettle options, as well as some fun ways to enjoy it. We then will cook up a big batch of Cordial together & enjoy a refreshing Nettle Soda crafted with it. Each attendee will leave with a 2 oz bottle of Cordial, a copy of the recipe, a Stinging Nettle monograph, & the know-how. This will be a small group class & very hands on. We are expecting it to run about 1.5 hours long. CLASS SPACE IS LIMITED. This is a PRIVATE EVENT; advance ticket/s must be
purchased.
