Ocean on Tap is an informal, ocean-centric speaker series organized by researchers from the Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences and hosted by Footbridge Brewery in Boothbay Harbor. Our goal is to bring people of the community together over the fascinating world of the ocean. At these events, speakers will share their corner of expertise in the ocean, and attendees are encouraged to ask questions.
The next Ocean on Tap event will take place on May 9th from 6-7pm at Footbridge Brewery. Kerry Dykens and Kristin Heidenreich of the National Collection for Marine Algae at the Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences will be sharing about the fascinating world of marine algae and how algae impacts our lives.
