The next Ocean on Tap event will take place on January 23rd from 6-7pm at Footbridge Brewery. Brenda Hamilton is a FEMA Storm Outreach & Recovery Coordinator for Maine Coast Fishermen’s Association. She will be discussing Maine’s recent storms, how to prepare, and the resources available (including funding) for our working waterfront community. It should be especially interesting and useful with the winter storms starting to ramp up!
Ocean on Tap is an informal, ocean-centric speaker series organized by researchers from Bigelow Laboratory and hosted by Footbridge Brewery in Boothbay Harbor. Our goal is to bring people of the community together over the fascinating world of the ocean. At these events, speakers will share their corner of expertise in the ocean, and attendees are encouraged to ask questions.
