Serving Maine and Lincoln County for over 140 years
This guided walk will show you a side of Boothbay Harbor’s waterfront you’ve never seen! You’ll learn the ins and outs of
lobstering, see the sites of shipbuilding, hear of early fisheries, lighthouses, rum running and even pirates. What industries used to line the shore? Were there sea serpents? Was there any Naval activity in the area?
Tour the shore with Maine’s largest walking tour company to hear all of the above and more, including shanties, as you walk in the footsteps of early Boothbay Harbor mariners! Appropriate for all ages and easy walking, it’s something the whole family will enjoy.
By reservation only; $17.50 for adults, $8 for children under 12, free for children under 5. http://www.redcloaktours.com or 207-380-3806
Advance discounted tickets $35, regular tickets $40. Tonight these musicians pay tribute to the music of Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs and the Foggy Mountain Boys. Grammy-award winning bluegrass from a group that is playing at the top of the heap. You’d need to search far and wide to find a finer group playing old time bluegrass. A great kick-off concert to the summer season in Boothbay Harbor.
