Healthy Kids 19th annual Strawberry Shortcake Shuffle 5K/Walk will be a live event again this year.
The event will be held Saturday, July 6, at Great Salt Bay Community School in Damariscotta. An out and back course is well marked, and the race is professionally timed. All runners and walkers will receive sunglasses, water bottles, and custom lip balm with sunscreen.
Of course, there is always homemade strawberry shortcake for all! Prizes will be given out in age categories.
The race supports the programs of Healthy Kids. Major sponsors for 2024 are Bath Savings Institution, Hannaford Supermarkets, and Renys. Strawberry sponsors are Full Circle Direct Family Care, Cheney Insurance, and Lifespan Family Health Care.
