The Alna Volunteer Fire Department invites all to join in a celebration for the department’s 75th anniversary from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 23 at the fire station.
The first 75 Alna residents in attendance will receive a commemorative coin. The day feature fire station tours, equipment displays and demonstrations, and a fire extinguisher raffle. Visitors will be able to spray water from a fire truck and take a ride in a fire truck and/or the department’s tracked ATV.
Free coffee and doughnuts will be available starting at 10 a.m. and burgers, hot dogs, beans, and more will be available beginning at 11 a.m. Live music from The Clarinotes will be performed from 12:30-1:30 p.m.
The Alna fire station is located at 1578 Alna Road (Route 218).
