Darrell Hartman, author of “Battle of Ink and Ice,” will give a talk from 7-8 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, at the Whitefield Library. Books will be available for sale.
Come hear Hartman discuss a global tale of international arctic explorations and how the rise of two New York media giants came together during the early 1900s.
Hartman was raised in Whitefield and is now based in the Catskills region of New York. He has written for The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, the Paris Review, and various other publications. He is a graduate of Cony High School and Yale University. “Battle of Ink and Ice” is his first book.
