The Wiscasset Police Department will host a back-to-school supply drop-off drive-through for kids who attend the Wiscasset School District on Friday, Aug. 25 from 9 a.m. to noon at the front of the EMS portion of the municipal building located at 51 Bath Road, Wiscasset.
Items that can be donated are backpacks, pens, pencils, lunchboxes, paper products, glue, crayons, etc. Cash donations will be accepted and officers will purchase additional items with these funds.
Officer Craig Worster, the school resource officer, will be coordinating these efforts and all donations can be made at the police department or the town office on this day or any day up until Aug. 31.
