Odd Alewives Farm Brewery in Waldoboro will have a birthday party for Rocket, the brewery’s resident cat, to benefit Pope Memorial Humane Society in Thomaston on Saturday, March 16 from 1-3 p.m.
Rocket will turn 1 this month, and to celebrate, the brewery has teamed up with Pope Memorial Humane Society to help support animal adoption in the Midcoast region. Rocket came to Odd Alewives via one of Pope Memorial Humane Society’s satellite adoption locations and she ended up being a “purrfect” match.
On March 16, Pope Memorial Humane Society will visit the brewery with some adoptable cats looking for their “fur-ever” homes. Odd Alewives will donate 10 percent of all sales that day to Pope Memorial Humane Society.
