Bristol Consolidated School is hosting its Second Annual Dodgeball Tournament on Saturday, March 25, to benefit the Merritt Brackett Lobster Boat Races in August.
Special guest Don Carrigan will be on hand to support the cause and help judge the tournament. Cash prizes will be offered for the funniest team costume and most clever team T-shirts.
Three divisions are available: Youth (grades 5-8), High School (grades 9-12), and Adult. Teams are almost filled up so participants are encouraged to register early. If space is still available, registrations will be open the day of the tournament.
Each team must include six members with a minimum of one female. Costs to register are $36 per student team and $72 for the adults. Each division will play a double elimination bracket.
Estimated starting times are 10 a.m. for Youth Division, 11 a.m. for High School Division, and noon for the Adult Division. Please arrive 1/2 hour early.
Awards to the Youth and High School Champions will be custom designed T-shirts to be ordered after the tournament to ensure the proper sizes. An award ceremony for the Adult Division will take place at the Harbor Room following the tournament.
Sponsors Renys, L.D. Chase Rentals, and Harbor Day Care are offering to sponsor a youth team, so please inquire if interested.
