The Jefferson Fire & Rescue community blood drive will take place on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the fire station, on 204 Waldoboro Road, Jefferson. Go to redcrossblood.org to make an appointment. There is an urgent need for blood.
