Friday, July 20 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. is when the Boothbay Region Garden Club Home and Garden Tour will take place. One can take in the peaceful surroundings of the grounds of Cape Newagen Alpaca Farm and garden and stop in at the shop to view or purchase some of the lovely items handspun from alpaca fleece. Proceeds from the tour will go to help support many of the garden club projects that contribute to the community, such as YMCA camperships, college scholarships, and one-on-one garden therapy at St. Andrews Village, to name just a few. Tickets can be purchased at the Boothbay Harbor Chamber of Commerce, 192 Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor.
