A special wine and food pairing highlighting local producers will be held on Valentine’s Day, Thursday, Feb. 14, at The Bradley Inn, which is located at 3063 Bristol Road, New Harbor (Bristol).
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Maine’s own Cellardoor Winery for this special evening,” said Laura Moskwa, owner of The Bradley Inn. “Opening in the middle of winter for a romantic, cozy, and fun evening is what we all could use this time of year.”
Six wines have been paired with tasting courses for the event, which begins at 6 p.m.
“I created a tasting menu with specific flavors that will be enhanced by the wines,” said Ross Moskwa, head chef of The Bradley Inn. A Cellardoor Winery representative will present the wines with each course, explaining their origins, tasting profiles, and pairing suggestions.
The evening will begin as guests are greeted with sparkling wine and savory chocolate bark. Additional pairings include a pinot noir with roasted beet soup, Puerto Viejo with lamb, and C’est de l’Or with chocolate-covered strawberries and a pink velvet mousse.

“We hosted two wine and food pairing events last year,” said Moskwa. “They were a great success, so we’re thrilled to be creating this special, elegant night for Valentine’s Day. The restaurant will be decorated for the holiday, with romantic lighting and seating, so it should be a really memorable evening.”
Guests will also receive a special offer to continue the love later in the season when the inn opens.
