Pan Fried Steel hits the stage at The Opera House at Boothbay Harbor on Saturday, March 23 for Caribbean Night.
The south-of-the-border sound of the drums of the band Pan Fried Steel returns to The Opera House at Boothbay Harbor for this year’s Caribbean Night, on Saturday, March 23.
Twenty steel drums, Hawaiian shirts aplenty, and a tiki hut are just a few of the guaranteed sights during the annual Caribbean Night event. Spontaneous limbo contests, boots traded for flip flops, and more will make everyone feel as though a bit of summer has set in along the Midcoast.
The fun will begin at 7 p.m., doors open at 6:30 p.m., and advance discounted tickets are $10 and available from the opera house’s box office at 86 Townsend Ave. in Boothbay Harbor, or by calling 633-5159. Regular tickets are $15 and available online at boothbayoperahouse.com and at the door on the day of the event. There will be plenty of seats, but also a large dance floor for all ages.
