Beacon Chapter #202 of the Order of the Eastern Star is gearing up for its annual Christmas bazaar and wreath sale, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 26 at the Alna Anchor Masonic Lodge at 529 Main St., Damariscotta. This annual event is the largest fundraising event of the season and the proceeds will go to help Beacon Chapter #202 to continue with its charitable giving such as scholarships to promising students, and giving to CHIP, Caring for Kids, Lincoln County Fuel Assistance, and other local charities. It is the chapter’s pleasure to serve the community in this way, and the proceeds from the annual bazaar and wreath sale make it possible.
This year, there will be many vendors with offerings to tempt everyone as they search for the perfect gift for a loved one, or even for themselves. There will also be the bake table with homemade goodies created by the ladies of the Eastern Star, and the kitchen will be open and serving a light lunch to eat in or take out.
