Clamshell Quilters Guild will hold an auction and sale on Monday, June 11 at the Faith Baptist Church, 144 Mills Road, Newcastle. Doors will open for previewing items on offer at 4:30 p.m. Meredith Fossett will conduct the sale starting at 5:30 p.m. sharp.
Bargains will include lots of fabric scraps and yardage, wide backings, threads, notions, embellishments, sewing tools, patterns, and gently used books. One particularly special item is a set of redwork panels embroidered by Beverly Slye.
Bring bags for toting home treasures.
