The Central Lincoln County YMCA is kicking off summer with a new Back to Summer Block Party from 5:30-8 p.m. on Friday, June 14, open to all in the community. This will be a free family event promoting active families and getting outdoors.
The CLC YMCA is partnering with Camp Kieve, Midcoast Conservancy, Sandcastle Entertainment, the VIP Maine Mobile food truck, the Damariscotta Farmers Market, and other local organizations to celebrate the beginning of summer. Activities will include Kieve’s climbing wall, a farmers market, Fourth of July-style games, volleyball, face painting, music, a FARMS at the Y smoothie bar, fat-tire biking demos, trail running, and bounce houses. All activities will be free to the public and food will be available for purchase from VIP Maine Mobile.
