The Oystermen
There will be a contra dance at the Damariscotta Baptist Church on Friday, April 14 featuring The Oystermen — Carter Newell on fiddle, Smokey McKeen on accordion and guitar, and Eric Rolfson on bass and mandolin – with Maggie Robinson calling at 8 p.m. There will also be a potluck and an all-ages family dance starting at 6:30 p.m. featuring the Oyster Creek Fiddlers, with Kaity Newell calling.
This is a community event and part of the proceeds will go to support the Great Salt Bay Community School music program.
The last second-Friday dance in this series will be held May 12, with lightning fiddler Maisie Newell, Eric Dayon on guitar, and Lani Palm calling.
