The Dyer Neck Gang
On Saturday, Jan. 20 from 7-10 p.m., the Dyer Neck Gang will perform for the first time at The Penalty Box, 436 Main St., Damariscotta.
The Dyer Neck Gang is made up of local musicians bringing country-rock to a whole new level. Lead singer Joe Dalton, formerly of the Generics, fronts this talented group of musicians consisting of Alan Butler on lead guitar, Deric Verney on drums, and newest member Dwight Harrington on bass. Bob Marcus can be found lurking in the background providing sound and lights.
The Dyer Neck Gang set list consists of some of the newest country-rock songs on the charts today by Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Jon Pardi, Jason Aldean, Cole Swindell, and more. The group also grabs music from its rock heritage, including songs by Collective Soul, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and The Who, to name a few.
