On Thursday, May 16, the Central Lincoln County YMCA, Main Street Grocery in Damariscotta, and the Damariscotta Police Department will partner to host another Fill the Y Bus food drive.
These food drives typically fill over 35 boxes and bags with donations to benefit the Jefferson Food Pantry, Ecumenical Food Pantry, Lincoln Academy Cubbies, and local schools’ backpack programs to help serve members in the community in need of nourishment.
Contributing to the event will be Main Street Grocery staff; Damariscotta Police Chief Jason Warlick, representing the police department; CLC YMCA staff and board members; and CLC YMCA middle and high school Y leaders clubs — and of course, the generosity of Lincoln County community members.
