Boothbay
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Boothbay Civic Association will host its 31st annual celebration on the town common.
The celebration will feature music by the Boothbay Region Community Band, arts and crafts vendors, and the Boothbay Fire Department’s dunk tank. A chicken barbecue with all the fixings will follow, as well as kids games and live music from local musicians.

Fireworks at 9 p.m.
Bristol
At 2 p.m., Saturday, July 1, the Colonial Pemaquid State Historic Site will host its annual reading of the Declaration of Independence with commentary by living history interpreters.
The Round Pond parade will start at Masters Machine Co. on Lower Round Pond Road at noon. The parade will proceed to Route 32, turn left, and continue through the village, ending at the Padebco storage facility on Route 32.
Damariscotta
The Damariscotta Fireworks Festival will begin at 6 p.m. in the municipal parking lot, with food and live music. The fireworks display over the Damariscotta River will begin at dusk.
Whitefield
A parade will start in Kings Mills at 10 a.m. and a cake walk, country auction, games, face-painting, and a white elephant sale will follow, with plenty of food available.
Wiscasset
A “Music of America” themed parade will begin at 10 a.m. and proceed from Hooper Street to Federal Street, Main Street, and Middle Street. A veterans memorial salute and flag-raising will take place on the waterfront at 11 a.m.
The Wiscasset Yacht Club will host a strawberry shortcake social from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the announcement of the parade prize winners at noon.
