The Garden Club of Wiscasset’s annual plant sale will be Saturday, May 11 at the Wiscasset Municipal Building, at Routes 1 and 27 in Wiscasset, from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
The club is known for healthy, robust plants at reasonable prices gathered from members’ gardens and other reputable area gardens.
The sale will have perennials and shrubs, including heirloom peonies and climbing hydrangeas. There will be handmade hypertufa pots for sale, great for patio settings and a lovely gift for Mother’s Day.
Once again there will be a children’s table to inspire young gardeners, and a bake sale.
The plant sale will take place rain or shine. Experienced gardeners will be available to answer questions.
The proceeds from this sale will go directly to the Wiscasset/Lincoln County area in the form of scholarships, community projects and civic beautification.
