Helping Hands of Round Pond is excited to announce an engaging and lively fundraising event, An Evening with Heather Cox Richardson, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10.
Richardson is the author of the New York Times bestseller “Democracy Awakening,” as well as a popular nightly newsletter, “Letters from an American.”
Helping Hands of Round Pond have booked the Lincoln Theater in Damariscotta, and arranged for local democracy advocate Keith Mestrich to be Richardson’s conversation partner on the stage. Mestrich is a New Harbor resident with over 30 years of experience in the nonprofit world and labor sector.
Tickets for this fundraiser are $125. There is a maximum of four tickets per order. All funds will go towards the ongoing restoration of the historic 1852 Greek Revival style Round Pond Meetinghouse, the future home of Helping Hands. Helping Hands of Round Pond is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax deductible.
