The Jefferson Village School PTA will host its ninth annual Jefferson Jubilee at Jefferson Village School, at 48 Washington Road in Jefferson, from 6-8:30 p.m., Friday, May 5. Dinner admission will be $5 for adults and $3 for children 10 and under. The dinner will consist of spaghetti, salad, a roll, beverages, and dessert.
Admission will include three raffle tickets. Additional raffle tickets will be available for five for $1 or 25 cents each. All persons must be present and attend the raffle part of the event in order to claim raffle items won.
Several local businesses and individuals have donated items for the raffle, including numerous homemade items, a picnic table, a drone, jewelry, and amusement park and aquarium admissions. In addition, Jefferson Village School classrooms have put together baskets to raffle with such themes as Family Game Night, Outdoor Summer Fun, and Lego. Last year’s Jubilee event raised more than $5,000 for the PTA treasury. These funds are utilized to assist the school’s teachers and students throughout the school year.
