With the coming of spring, Bremen Union Church will hold the last of its four free community meals of the season on Tuesday, April 25 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. Donna Finneran, the host for this Simply Supper event, has planned a meal of favorite hot casseroles, salads, and homemade breads. Dessert will be a variety of ice cream sundaes. There will be a hymn sing at 6:30 p.m., with Janet Leonard at the keyboard.
These meals are sponsored by the church’s Mission and Benevolence Committee and all area people are welcome. There is no charge, but
any donations are appreciated but never expected, and will be put to further missions.
In order to have a meal delivered to the homebound, call the church at 832- 1283 and leave a clear message with the name of the recipient and the caller’s phone number for more details, if necessary.
Thank you to all who came to eat, and especially those who cooked and served at dinners this past winter. The church is located on Route 32 in Bremen, with plenty of off-street parking.
